Yesterday we threw the most fantastic event at Culinary House. As a theme house we are required to throw three events per term and after meeting Linda from Divinitea at the Schenectady Green Market we just knew we had to have her come to Union to speak with the students and share her delicious organic teas! The event was a wild success and I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed dining on pastries and tea sandwiches while sharing some outstanding cups of chai with good company and great conversation. It was the perfect way to begin the school week!

Love this blog entry. Thank you, Cat. Linda Smith has a tea shop, Divinites, at 704 Upper Union Street. So, in addition to the Sunday Green Market, you can shop more frequently for the freshest tea!
The shop is called Divinitea and it’s at 1708 Union Street
Thank you. It was a fun time; lots of good food and laughs! I look forward to seeing you again! We are doing more tea tastings in case you are interested: Tesoros Cafe on 1712 Union St, Schenectady will be hosting a Divinitea tea tasting every second Thursday night of the month, starting March 14th at 6:30. We’ll do different themes each month. Stop by! Check back at divinitea.com/organic-tea-blog for future events.
